Inductive physiotherapy is a new concept in physiotherapy. Its therapeutic application is based on a novel aetiological hypothesis. In fact, inductive physiotherapy is an integrated, innovative concept rather than just another physiotherapy technique.
The therapeutic tool in inductive physiotherapy (referred to as “normalizing induction”) consists of an individualized series of postures designed to trigger a remote, involuntary reaction that in turn produces the desired therapeutic effect.
The indications for inductive physiotherapy overlap broadly with those of conventional physiotherapy.
In France, inductive physiotherapy can be performed by registered physiotherapists having completed a three-year, part-time university diploma.
